Information Security and Information Technology professionals from both private and public sector organizations throughout the Rio Grande Valley are putting together a cybersecurity event for the community.  The event will be the 2nd Annual BSides RGV 2019 Cybersecurity Conference and will follow the well-known BSides community-driven framework.  In order to make this event a success, we need your help.  We are looking for sponsors, volunteers, and also for presentations for the event.  What makes a BSides different than any other cybersecurity event is that the goal is to create opportunities for individuals to both present and participate in an intimate atmosphere that encourages collaboration.  We not only want to encourage the local information security community to attend, but also to submit a presentation proposal.  We know there is talent in our community…this is a chance to share your knowledge with your peers.
