We have ZERO TOLERANCE for physical/verbal/sexual harassment of anyone at BSides Boston. Our “Code of Conduct” is quite simple: “Do not be an Ass”*, otherwise you may be asked to leave. Asking questions of a speaker during their talk, to get clarity or debate a point is NOT being an ass – heckling or haranguing the speaker IS. If you are not sure, ask, or err on the side of basic decency and common courtesy. Please help us enforce this — if any participants are doing something would not be acceptable to have done to you (or any human being), do not let them treat anyone else that way. If you are having an issue with a BSides Boston participant of ANY badge type, please find a BSides Boston staff member, who will take an official incident report and determine next steps.
*Staff reserves the right to determine what constitutes “Being an Ass”.
